The Wanted have debuted their new single.

As previously reported, the British boyband revealed that their new release would be called 'Walks Like Rihanna'.

The song received its first ever airplay this morning (April 29) on Capital FM.

Fans lapped up the track, with one Twitter user tweeting: "OMG everything is perfect jay's soloooo."

Another fan said on the social networking website: "MY HEART'S GOING BOOM BOOM RIGHT NOW. GOSH, IT'S AMAZING! I'M IN LOVE. PLAY IT AGAIN! PLAY IT AGAIN! HAHAHA."

The Wanted meanwhile tweeted after the single's premiere: "Love seeing all the amazing feedback THANK YOU!! #WalksLikeRihanna is the first single from our brand new album coming later this year :)."

The video for 'Walks Like Rihanna' is due to be unleashed on May 7.
