5 Seconds of Summer have thanked their fans after performing three gigs in a row at London's Wembley Stadium.

The band are the support act on One Direction's Where We Are tour and this past weekend saw the show roll into London's iconic venue.

It seems to have boosted the Australians' stock even further as they continue to gain global popularity.

5 Seconds of Summer took to Facebook after the third show on Sunday (June 8) to post a picture of some of their band members seemingly sleeping on a floor backstage.

The caption read: "Tired lads. THANK YOU WEMBLEY!"

Next up for the tour meanwhile is a date in Stockholm, Sweden on June 13.
