5 Seconds of Summer unconcerned by Grammys snub

5 Seconds of Summer insist they aren't bothered by missing out a Grammy nomination.

The Australians released their self-titled debut album earlier this year and it reached No.1 in the US.

The record wasn't isn't up for a Grammy, however, with the ceremony unveiling their nominees last week.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the quartet said there is plenty of time in the future to land a Grammy nod.

Bassist Calum Hood said: "We weren't disappointed at all, I mean music isn't a race.

"It's our first album, hopefully we have many to come so there's always time and it's not about awards either, so it's whatever - it's fine. Maybe one day."
