Ariana Grande has rocketed to the top of the US iTunes chart.

The singer released her new song 'Best Mistake' in America overnight and it has shot to No.1 on the downloads list.

At time of writing, the Big Sean duet is sitting pretty at the top of the iTunes chart ahead of Wiz Khalifa and Meghan Trainor.

The track will feature on Grande's upcoming second album 'My Everything', which is scheduled for an August 25 release.

It will follow up her debut 'Yours Truly', which was released in 2013.

The singer has already unveiled 'Problem' and 'Break Free' from her new record.
