Ariana Grande defends pit bulls: 'People are so wrong about them'

Songstress Ariana Grande, who is known for her love of animals, has spoken out about the damaged reputation of the pit bull breed

During a new interview with On Air with Ryan, the beauty explained that it's a shame people think pit bulls are aggressive and dangerous dogs because that's not their normal temperament at all: "Anyone who has any sort of horrible idea about what a pit bull is, you are so wrong... Cinnamon is an angel."

She also spoke about her newly unveiled single, 'Dangerous Woman', adding that it has such a distinctive sound that it evokes a strong emotional reaction within her: "I am so in love with how this song makes you feel."

Last spring, Grande sponsored fifteen puppies from New York City shelter Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue and shared photographs of them on big screens during her gigs at Madison Square Garden. She told fans that the idea behind the project was to give the dogs exposure in hopes that people might consider adopting them:

"So if any of these babes happen to steal your heart and you are interested in providing a home for any of them, the link will be right up on the screen and all adoption fees will have already been taken care of by me... Thank you for having a heart and helping these precious babes find homes! The team will of course be making sure that the people who reach out make a suitable family/home for the pups in need."
