Food style / inspiration: I’d say my style is eclectic, but I’m always inspired by my travels and Filipino roots most especially my mum. I like to incorporate this with European and modern style of cooking. My husband is British and his family are traditional cooks, so that has influenced my style too.

Why Masterchef?: I moved to the UK in 2012 and have watched MasterChef since then. It’s been a huge influence on my cooking and to go on there and cook my food for the judges is mind-blowing.
