Drake says he's signed to Skepta's indie label Boy Better Know

Drake has suggested that he has signed a contract with grime artist Skepta's independent record label Boy Better Know.

The Canadian revealed the news on Instagram on Thursday (February 25).

The hip-hop man made a surprise appearance with Section Boyz after the Brit Awards in London on Wednesday (February 24).

Posting a picture from the show, Drake said: "The first Canadian signed to BBK.

"Big up my brudda @skeptagram for life yeah. And my section gunners too."

Skepta, who founded the label in 2005 with JME, later posted an image of a t-shirt with the text Boy Better Know and Drake's own OVO label logo together.

It is unclear, however, what exactly Drake's claim means.

BBK has often been regarded as more of a collective than a traditional label, with the artists performing gigs under its name.
