Ellie Goulding to release Children in Need single

Ellie Goulding will release this year's Children in Need single.

The singer is set to unleash the track 'How Long Will I Love You' on November 10 as she supports the annual charity campaign.

She follows in the footsteps of the likes of McFly and Girls Aloud, who were last year's musical representative.

Goulding commented: "I've grown up watching BBC Children in Need so it's fantastic that I'm doing this year's single! It is an emotional song, but in a really positive way, and I've been completely blown away with the positive reaction it's had already."

At least 20p from each download of the song will go towards charity, whilst sales of the track via its album - Goulding's recent re-issue 'Halcyon Days' - will also contribute to the cause.

The singer meanwhile is also due to play the Children in Needs Rocks live event in London on November 13.
