Little Mix on touring the USA: 'It was amazing to widen our fanbase'

UK-based girl group Little Mix have revealed that getting to tour across the USA in support of Demi Lovato on her 'Neon Lights' run was a dream come true.

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards explained to reporters at the 2014 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, at which the girls won Band of the Year, that having the opportunity to expand their fanbase internationally was amazing:

"It was an amazing experience for us, getting to go to America and perform for people who don't really know who we are. It was nice to widen our fanbase a bit and work hard in America. The first show in Vancouver was amazing."

Member Leigh-Anne Pinnock went onto add that seeing people singing their songs back to them halfway across the world was an incredible experience: "We didn't know what to expect, who was going to know our music and everyone was just listening to our songs, it was just amazing."
