Little Mix: 'If we want to write about sex, we should feel free to do that'

'Black Magic' beauties Little Mix have opened up about what it's like to have thousands of young fans and confessed that it can be stressful to always be put on a pedestal because humans make mistakes and don't always behave perfectly.

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards told Digital Spy that being considered a role model is difficult because you're always trying to live up to outside expectation, which can cause tremendous pressure:

"I think it's just a very scary thing to say. It's a big responsibility and it can be very intense. If people want to look up to you and be like you for you just being yourself, then fair enough, but we are young girls, we're not perfect, and obviously it's different because everyone can see those mistakes you are making. Everybody is there to have a comment on it, or a judgment on it."

Songstress Jade Thirlwall added that one of the strangest side-effects of being a role model is feeling like you can't write about certain topics as you mature: "When there's millions of of people watching you, obviously you can't be an arsehole. But we shouldn't feel like we can't write about sex and stuff like that because we are grown-ups now.|
