One Direction star Niall Horan dropped by his beloved Derby County Football Club on Wednesday (February 5).

The singer is a well-known fan of the Championship team and he regularly attends their matches when he can.

He was a guest of the club's training ground this week as he mingled with players and watched the team go through their paces.

The club's official website wrote: 

"Horan hung around following training and visited the Training Ground gym to watch the players go through a series of strength and conditioning exercises. He also took in lunch with Head Coach Steve McClaren and chatted away with the playing squad until late in the afternoon, including fellow countrymen Jeff Hendrick, Conor Sammon, Richard Keogh and Mark O’Brien."

Horan was seen meanwhile wearing crutches as he continues to recover from a recent knee operation.
