Singer Harry Styles has opened up about which of his One Direction bandmates is the best at chatting up women and joked that hitmaker Liam Payne likes to try out one-liners on girls he fancies. 

Speaking to Britain's Very magazine, the heartthrob explained that bandmate Liam Payne definitely has a way with the ladies and even showed off a trusty chat-up line when they were out together once:

"I once went out with Liam and he has some funny chat-up lines. He went up to a girl and said, 'Do you have a plaster because I hurt my knee when I feel for you?!'"

'Story Of My Life' superstar Styles went onto add that he's always entertained by reading about his supposed love life because the majority of the reports printed are entirely false: "I'd say more than 90 per cent of the people I get linked with are my friends. At the moment, it appears that I have 7,000 girlfriends! It's ridiculous."
