One Direction fans vent fury at 'fraudulent' ticket website

One Direction fans have been left disappointed after a website purportedly selling tickets for the band's gigs vanished without trace.

Smart Cloud Tickets had been selling cheap briefs for the group's upcoming UK tour and many people used the website to snap up tickets.

However, the site has disappeared and the alleged company cannot be contacted.

This has left One Direction fans reeling, with Charlene Dowie writing online: "Seriously if you are gonna make money from a concert why make it a concert that’s going to distress children."

Mother Sasha Grant paid £179 for two tickets for her herself and her daughter and she told the Daily Star:

"It is disgusting. They have taken people’s money and crushed my daughter’s dreams."

One Direction's European tour meanwhile is due to kick off in Dublin on Friday (May 23), with the band then travelling to the UK.
