One Direction's Where We Are tour raises over £300k for charity

The UK and Ireland leg of One Direction's Where We Are tour has raised more than £300,000 for charity.

50p from each ticket sold on the stadium run was given to the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Fans meanwhile were also invited to pledge extra money to Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity and the Teenage Cancer Trust and this raked in £300,000.

The news comes only weeks after Niall Horan raised over £300,000 for charity by hosting a celebrity football game in Leicester.

Next up on the Where We Are tour meanwhile is a date in Stockholm, Sweden on June 13.

The band will then travel across mainland Europe before heading to North America.
