One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has been photographed checking his iPhone while in the studio.

A link to the picture was sent out from the group's official Twitter page earlier this afternoon, much to the delight of the curly-haired singer's fans, and the shot was accompanied by the caption: "Harry busy in the booth!"

Although a release date for their upcoming new album is yet to be confirmed, the lads have been working on tracks for it and every now and again they tweet details of what they've been recording.

Recently, member Niall Horan uploaded an exciting blog post that revealed to readers how he's been laying down guitar parts for One Direction's new full-length offering:

"Recording for album two which is comin at the end of the year! I have been recording loads of guitar on tracks. So that will make the show a little more interesting for me for next year!"

Earlier this month, Liam Payne also expressed his excitement at One Direction's new material by tweeting: "I cant waaaiittt for the new album to come outttt!!! Exxccciitteedddd."
