The One Direction heartthrobs have already enjoyed phenomenal success this year and now have another set of awards ceremony nominations to celebrate.

The 2012 BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards announced on September 15 that the 'One Thing' superstars are up for an impressive 3 prizes this year and the group's official Twitter page sent out a post earlier today (September 17) encouraging fans to get involved and vote:

"One Direction have been nominated in the Best British Single, Best British Album, and Best British Music Act categories at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards. If you would like to vote go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/teenawards/2012/ … 1DHQ x"

The Teen Awards will take place on October 7 at London's Wembley Arena and it will see performances from the likes of fun., Taylor Swift, and Conor Maynard.

They also treated their 6.6 million online followers to a sneak peek at the T-shirt they will be sent if they pre-order the boys' forthcoming new album, 'Take Me Home', and accompanied the photo of the merchandise (shown above left) with the caption:

"Exclusive pic of the 1D T-shirt ONLY available in the super deluxe edition of #TakeMeHome - YES PLEASE...."
