Harry Styles’ best friend has claimed that the One Direction star is tired of going to showbiz parties and is in fact looking for a relationship.

Will Sweeney, who has known the 18-year-old since his schooldays, told the Daily Mirror that despite his womanising reputation, Styles is keen to settle down:

“I do know Harry’s looking for a relationship, he’s told me that. He’s always out mixing with celebrities and going to all these parties with different girls, but it’s lonely for him and not what he wants.

“That’s just not really the kind of guy he is. He’s very ­sentimental and emotional and he always goes the extra mile for any ­girlfriend he has.” 

Will, who was also in Styles’ former band, White Eskimo, went on to add that his pal never used to be into older women:

“They were normal ages. And he never had ­hundreds of girls. I’d liken him to ­Robbie ­Williams... he’s a cheeky-chappie type and often girls just ­wanted to cuddle him.

“He didn’t ever go for looks, it was always about a girl’s person­ality. He talked about how a girl seemed like a nice ­person, not what her body was like. It’s what’s inside the person that ­matters to Harry.”
