Pepsi have teased One Direction's new Pepsi advert.

The pop group had been rumoured earlier this year to be participating in the drinks company's new advertising campaign.

It had been speculated that there would be an American Football theme and it seems these links have come true.

Pepsi have uploaded a teaser clip on YouTube of the band with New Orleans Saints' quarterback Drew Brees.

The NFL star suggests that the two camps could team up under the name "1DB", which is greeted with murmurs of derision from One Direction.

The 'One Thing' stars are the latest big name act to team up with Pepsi, following in the footsteps of famous names such as David Beckham and the Spice Girls.
