UK boyband One Direction recently confirmed plans to film and release a 3D movie and member Harry Styles has revealed that they've already started work on the exciting project.

Speaking to MTV, the curly-haired heartthrob explained that a camera crew has been travelling with them for "a while" and they have already shot some great footage for the film:

"It's been good, we've had cameras with us for a while now. It's just going to be nice, obviously, for the fans to see a bit more in-depth side of us. It's going to be nice to watch it back as well and see the stuff we've been doing when we're a bit older. So that's exciting."

Back in November, member Niall Horan told MTV that he's been given a camera to shoot some of his own scenes and has been carrying it around with him on tour:

"They've given me a camera for the movie, so we're going to be going around. Well we've been kind of [filming], we've always had a camera with us. Like when we were touring America in the summer, we had like a camera with us every day and we were just kind of documenting stuff cause if it ever did come to a movie, then we'd have stuff ready for it."
