The One Direction star pulled out all the stops for girlfriend Taylor Swift, 23, with a special pub lunch.

Styles, 18, who has been showing the U.S. country pop singer around his native England drove for two hours to take her to the George and Dragon Hotel in Great Budworth, Cheshire.

Her birthday treats included: "perfume, a £400 Jimmy Choo bag and antique earrings," according to The Sun newspaper.

The couple were spotted walking hand-in-hand to and from the pub, sporting huge smiles.

As they bundled into Styles’ Range Rover after their meal, Swift was photographed apparently giggling at something her boyfriend had said before they drove off.

Keen to keep things low-key, Styles later took Swift to his local Chinese take-away also in Cheshire as part of her birthday celebrations after spending the day in picturesque Bowness on Windemere in the Lake District.

Styles was also reported to have purchased 23 cakes for Swift’s birthday to represent each year she has been alive.

Custom Cupcake Company owner Matt Blakely told the Warrington Guardian: “The woman said it was for Harry Styles but I didn’t know who that was at first.

“We had got a lot of orders before Christmas but she said he desperately needed them so we said OK.

“It was only afterwards we looked on the internet and saw it was his girlfriend’s birthday today and she was 23.”
