One direction singer Harry Styles is besotted with girlfriend Taylor Swift it has been confirmed.

Styles, 18 has been dating US country singer Swift, 23, since October.

The couple have been photographed spending lots of time together and celebrated Swift's birthday together this weekend in the UK.

Styles' friend BBC Radio One host Nick Grimshaw told The Mirror newspaper: "Harry really likes Taylor. He's fallen for her in a big way."

The DJ added that he too enjoyed Swift's company and described her as "fun."

"American artists are usually really boring and reserved but Taylor is fun. She's always up for a laugh and is really good company.

"Harry likes people who make him laugh. I talk to Harry on the phone while he's touring and he talks about her a lot. He is very happy with her."
