One Direction have revealed what they will be asking for this Christmas.

The lads have enjoyed a hectic 2012 with numerous globetrotting tours and new album 'Take Me Home' under their belts.

Rather unsurprisingly, when asked by MTV what they want for Christmas, Niall Horan replied that he just wants a "chilled" time with loved ones. He said:

"I'm not really looking for anything for Christmas. I think we all kind of agree, we just like were all really looking forward to just going home and like spending Christmas with our family and friends, eating a lot, drinking a lot, sleeping a lot, just chilling. General chilling."

Bandmate Harry Styles, however, is keen on something a bit more specific - some underwear and socks. He said:

"I just asked for pants because if you're on the road you always run out of pants and socks. So I just asked for pants and socks."
