One Direction are keen to collaborate with Jason Mraz next year.

Bandmates Harry Styles and Liam Payne gushed about the singer recently at the Jingle Ball in New York City, and revealed how they'd like to team up on a track in 2013.

Styles told MTV News: “I think Jason Mraz is amazing. His voice is amazing and when you listen to him it's just kind of happy.”

Payne added: “I'm liking his new beard as well. It's good, I'm a fan of the beard.”

When Mraz was told of One Direction's admiration for him, he repaid the compliment.

He gushed: “They are one direction into my heart, that's the direction they're headed right now, into my heart.

He continued: "I saw them coming together on X Factor a while ago and admired what it is they had to do to become who they are as a band...it really takes a lot of humility to share the spotlight like that. And they've got great voices, great attitudes, yeah I would consider it.”
