Harry Styles denies sending inappropriate texts to TV's Yvette Fielding

A spokesman for Harry Styles has dismissed claims that the One Direction star sent TV host Yvette Fielding rude text messages when he was a 16-year-old.

The suggestions emerged in an interview by Woman magazine with Fielding, who is best known for her work on Blue Peter and Most Haunted.

She apparently said that Styles is a family friend and that herself and her husband took the 'Kiss You' singer and his mother out for a meal three years ago.

Fielding is said to have claimed: "Harry was sending me disgusting texts from across the table. I can’t even repeat the words, they were so rude!"

She allegedly continued: "He's a Romeo, he's very romantic. When there's a love interest, Harry will go all out to get the girl. He's totally obsessed. I think that's what Simon Cowell saw in him, the cheeky chappie charm."

However, a spokesman denied the reported claims, saying: "Harry has never sent any rude or inappropriate texts to Yvette Fielding."

Since the story broke, Fielding told heat magazine: "It's all a load of rubbish – it's ridiculous and I'm really upset about it. Of course it's not true."
