The heartthrobs of One Direction stopped their concert in Sheffield on March 19 for a fan question and answer session via Twitter and revealed who they would invite to a dinner party if they had the chance.

Singer Louis Tomlinson instantly rejected his bandmates in favour of a Hollywood actress and a British sports icon: "I would have Natalie Portman because you need someone fit and maybe David Beckham, because I've always wanted to meet him."

Member Liam Payne revealed that he would also pick David Beckham, but also wanted a few of his 'Little Things' lads as well "I'd have to agree with you on David Beckham, that's a good one. I'll have two of you too, I'll have Liam and Louis."

Zayn Malik, on the other hand, went one step further and admitted that a family member would be on his guestlist, adding: "Lastly, my granddad Len ... yeah."

One Direction will perform at the LG Arena in Birmingham on March 22 and will then travel to Liverpool, London and Newcastle on their current 'Take Me Home' tour.
