One Direction star Niall Horan has set his Twitter fans in a tizzy following a post about breaking his bed.

Earlier today, the singer tweeted: “Came in last night! Jumped on my bed and broke it! So had to sleep on the couch! not the best night’s sleep I've ever had ! #NoInnuendos”

The onslaught of Tweets that followed openly defied Horan’s hashtag with comments such as “shhh babe you can't be telling your fans we broke the bed” and “we actually broke it together, it was a rough night ;).”

The singer later checked his replies and said: “Lookin at the replies to bed tweet! U guys are nuts ahaha! not one non- sexual tweet! #crazymofos”. He also posted a picture of the broken bed.
