One Direction's Harry Styles had everyone "roaring with laughter" thanks to his speech at his mother's wedding.

The teenage heartthrob's mother Anne married Robin Twist at a wedding ceremony held at Pecks restaurant near Congleton, Cheshire earlier this month.

Styles served as Best Man at the intimate ceremony and restaurant owner Andy Pear said the international superstar had all the wedding guests in stitches thanks to his hilarious speech.

He told British newspaper The Sun:“His speech was very witty. He had everyone roaring with laughter. And it was very emotional — people were in tears. He comes across as a very intelligent, engaging young man.

He added: “He wrote the speech himself and it lasted around ten minutes.”

Styles - who once admitted he tells his mother "everything" - was said to be thrilled to give his mother away.

One guest at the do said recently: "Harry couldn't stop smiling. He hardly left his mum's side and she looked really proud of him. He sipped champagne and talked to everyone.''
