The director of One Direction's first film believes the secret to Harry Styles' reported success in seducing ladies is his hair.

Morgan Spurlock was the driving force behind the band's debut flick This Is Us, which was released earlier this year.

Speaking to OK!, the director lavished praise on the group's star Harry Styles, saying that he would be good boyfriend material. Spurlock said:

"I think he’s a genuine, open person. He’d make a great boyfriend. Yeah. He’s a great son. How they treat their mom is always a good sign of how they’ll treat their girlfriend. And look at that hair. Ladies love the hair. It’s the flowing locks, and his dimples. He’s got good dimples."

Speaking meanwhile about the long list of rumoured love partners Styles has had, the filmmaker said:

"Harry could probably make whatever work he wants to work. That guy is smarter than the average bear, but people don’t realize it. He’s incredibly young and very wise for his age."
