One Direction are enjoying a surge up the DVD charts after their debut film This Is Us was released in the UK.

The boyband unleashed the flick in cinemas earlier this year in 3D form and it proved a massive success as it topped box offices across the globe.

It seems the home version of the film will follow suit after it was released in the UK today (December 19) - just in time for Christmas.

It is currently at No.1 in Amazon UK's documentary and music DVDs charts, whilst it finds itself at No.4 in the overall film and TV list.

However, it is expected to rise and become a quick seller as Directioners lap up the release.

One Direction meanwhile recently unleashed their third album 'Midnight Memories', with the record topping charts in almost one hundred countries.
