Paul McCartney announces UK tourSir Paul McCartney has confirmed a batch of UK tour dates. The musician will hit the road in the country for three shows in May. The first will take place at London's O2 Arena on May 23. He will then head to the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on May 27 before concluding things at the Echo Arena in Liverpool a day later. The Beatle commented: "It’s always great when you get to play in your home country. It’s been a little while since I’ve performed here so we’re planning a few surprises and looking forward to playing some songs we’ve never played here. "We’ve taken this tour all over the world but there’s nothing quite like rocking out with your home audience. We’ll see you soon." Tickets for the UK dates will go on sale from Monday (March 9). The three dates meanwhile form part of a wider European tour. Check out the full schedule below:
