Pharrell Williams has revealed plans to release a new album next month.

The 'Get Lucky' hitmaker will unleash the record 'G I R L' on March 3 in the UK via Columbia Records.

It will include his smash hit track 'Happy' and the album is now available to pre-order on iTunes.

Williams also unveiled a preview video for the record, which ends with the singer and producer shedding a tear.

The US star meanwhile is due to perform at the BRIT Awards tonight (February 19) in London.

The awards ceremony is taking place this year at London's O2 Arena.
