Although currently working on promotion for her new film, ‘Rudderless’, Selena Gomez has been chatting about what fans can expect from her next musical venture.

Much of 2014 has seen 22-year-old Selena out of the spotlight on the music scene as she began the year by cancelling the Asian and Australian dates of her ‘Stars Dance’ world tour and spent time in rehab.

During an interview with MTV News the ‘Come And Get It’ singer said she is “still figuring out all the kinks and whatnot” when it comes to being both an actress and a singer.

She went on to reveal details about her plans for the next phase in her music career. Selena teased:

“In music, for me, there’s a whole new chapter coming that I can’t wait to share with people.”

When pressed for more information she remained tight-lipped: “Nope, it’s a surprise... You’ll see. Soon.”

However, she is still torn between her two occupations as she admitted: “As of now, I think I’m still just kind of figuring everything out, but I enjoy both [acting and music] too much to pick one.”
