British heartthrob Zayn drops new "Bed Peace" cover

Zayn has dropped a third cover ahead of the release of his second solo album - the follow-up to 2016’s Mind of Mine.

His latest cover is Bed Peace by American singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko. The track featured on her EP Sail Out in 2013 and features Childish Gambino (see below). Aiko received platinum certification in the States for The Worst. She performed on Saturday Night Live when Drake was the guest host.

Last month Zayn released a cover of Beyoncé's Me, Myself and I, a track which Bey recorded in 2003. He also put his own spin on a sensual new cover of Elvis Presley's famous single Can't Help Falling In Love earlier this month on July 8.

About the “mysterious” rollout for his new record, which is currently known simply as “Z2”, Zayn said: “It’s going to be different than anything anyone has done before.

"It’s going to be interesting to see how the audience reacts to this kind of release.

“I wanted to try something different. I think it’s all going to make sense in the end when the album finally drops.”

The former One Direction star has been teasing a sophomore follow up for quite some time now but a date is still to be confirmed.
