Adam Lambert on Queen: 'They could have treated me like crap'

'Ghost Town' sensation Adam Lambert has revealed that he is always overwhelmed by how welcome the other members of iconic rock band Queen make him feel.

During a new interview with Futuro.cl, the vocal powerhouse was asked about the chemistry between himself and the other members and admitted that it's nothing fantastic:

"They could have treated me like crap if they had wanted to because they're Queen... and I would have taken it! But they've been so nice to me, so I'm very lucky."

He also confessed that he is constantly surprised by the diversity of fans in the audience at Queen's shows, adding: "I thought it was going to be older audience, and that audience there, but also all others: young people, children, men, women, of all ages, races, genders, I was surprised this diversity."

"I think these songs have stood the test of time because they are honest, from the heart, very universal, not necessarily something that happens at a time, but always felt that all emotions. They are so good at writing songs that tap into the human condition."
