Adam Lambert has expressed his views on 'American Idol' ending

'Ghost Town' superstar Adam Lambert has revealed that he does feel a little nostalgic to think that 'American Idol' is coming to an end because that was where he got his start.

He told Digital Spy at the Attitude Awards that he isn't upset about the decision to axe the show, but he feels as though he owes a lot to it because it was a fantastic platform for him:

"No, I'm not sad [it's coming to an end], I'm indifferent. Im very grateful for the show - I owe the show my career at this point. I don't know if I'd be where I am without it. And they're good people."

As previously reported, Lambert won the Music Award/International Album prize at the Attitude Awards for his latest offering, 'The Original High', and he also praised the UK's music scene:

"I'm really into the house music revival that's happening right now. Disclosure's incredible, Gorgon City's incredible, I love Years and Years. Jess Glynne's stuff is really cool, Clean Bandit's stuff is really cool. There's a lot of good music coming out of the UK at the moment. A LOT."
