Adam Lambert has posted a series of photos from his raucous Hollywood birthday celebrations, including a lap dance from A-list actor David Arquette.

The 'Scream' star surprised Lambert with a cheeky up-close-and-personal dance at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood on Friday night (January 25).

Arquette - who is part owner of the celeb hotspot - stripped down to his underwear to give the singer a birthday he'd never forget.

Lambert - who turns 31 on January 29 - was clearly overwhelmed by the hilarious gesture, and posted a series of snaps from the raucous night on his Twitter page on Saturday night.

Accompanied by the caption; "Yup... This happened", Lambert's first picture shows Arquette gyrating on his lap with the two men seemingly cheering with their mouths open.

Lambert then posted a number of other images on the social networking site - linking to his Instagram account - showing the star enjoying the festivities with friends.

Arquette took to his Twitter page yesterday to share a photo from the night's events with his followers.

The Hollywood star wrote: “@adamlambert: mdmolinari's photo http://instagram.com/p/U7FyS7sZ46/ ” Happy Birthday buddy. Thanks for celebrating @BootsyBellows (sic)."
