Adele has admitted that she used to get drunk and write down her feelings because “a drunk tongue is an honest one.”

“I used to have to lock myself in my house, get pretty drunk, write a drunk diary – because that was the only time I could ever admit things to myself,” the ‘Someone Like You’ singer reveals.

“And then the next morning I'd read it through with an awful hangover in the cold light of day and have to sort of absorb my own feelings about myself,” she adds.

Adele is currently No.1 in the UK album chart with her second album, ’21.’
