Antoine Dodson’s BET performance

Antoine Dodson, the Kentucky man who became an internet sensation after being interviewed by a TV news channel, made a surprise appearance at last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, Georgia Tuesday night (October 12).

In front of an audience that included rap royalty like P Diddy, Jay-Z, Eminem and Alicia Keys, the unlikely star performed his Auto-tuned cult hit ‘Bed Intruder’ accompanied by one of the Gregory Brothers.

“They reached out to me and said, ‘You are the hot topic right now, so we want you to be on the show.’ I thought I was just presenting,” Dodson confessed. “I did not know what I was doing until I got there. That was my first performance ever.”

Antoine shot to fame when he was interviewed about the alleged attempted rape of his sister earlier this year's and has become a cult hero since.
