‘X Factor’: “John A has left the building”

John Adeleye became the latest contestant to be booted off the ‘X Factor’ after failing to woo the judges in a sing-off last night (October 24).

Adeleye’s performance of ‘Zoom’ on Saturday evening did not sit well with audiences and saw the over-28 entry slip into the bottom two alongside Treyc Cohen.

Cohen successfully belted-it-out for survival on a rendition of the 'Dreamgirls' Broadway musical hit ‘One Night Only’ while Adeleye was underwhelming with a slightly tuneless version of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Because of You’.

Despite the setback, Adeleye vowed to return to music saying: “I’m going to just come away from this and go back to music. I’m going to go into a room and put some music down and I’m going to come out and tear it up. John A has left the building.”
