Cuban American singer Christina Milian opens up about her failed marriage to The-Dream in this month's issue of Latina Magazine, which will be on sale from January 11.

More like a nightmare than a dream, Milian describes how she's been "to hell and back" in the last year and how she's now loving life as single mother.

Milian said: "No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”

The-Dream has recently written Kim Kardashian's debut single, 'Turn It Up'.
