Arctic Monkeys: 'The next rung on the ladder is touring with our own hairdresser'

Alex Turner, the frontman from Arctic Monkeys, has opened up about the next step for the band and joked that being able to bring their own private hairdresser on the road would mean they have really made it.

Speaking to the Illinoise Entertainer recently, the 'When The Sun Goes Down' hitmaker explained that his hair is quite tricky to maintain so it would be great to hire a stylist for when they're on the road:

"...Hopefully, we'll get to the point – on the way to our private jet – where we tour with our own hairdresser. That's the next rung on the ladder. So what we really need is someone who can look after the wardrobe and cut hair – maybe I can take this opportunity to advertise for that!"

Arctic Monkeys, meanwhile, have been named the most listened-to act on streaming services over the last twelve months thanks to the 2013 release of their latest album, 'AM', which peaked at No.1 in the UK
