Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole has slammed the press for the constant lies that are written about her, both in a personal and professional context. 

She posted a snapshot of a magazine article to her official Instagram account last night (November 20), which had the headline, 'Cheryl: Kim will make me a star' and accompanied it with a caption that let the world know how inaccurate it is. 

The editorial explained that the 'Promise This' superstar has enlisted the help of Kim Kardashian in order to raise her profile in the USA so that she can launch a career there, but Cole shot this notion down and declared it "pathetic": "This is really how pathetic it's got!!! There aren't enough words to tell you on here what a load of s**t they talk but they might get this as it is my 20,0000th time saying it! I have no desire or "big dreams" to 'break the states! I have been offered and refused many opportunities which I have chosen not to take lol!"

"Get it through to your thick heads.. And just a ps. I met Kim years ago and have seen her on more than this occasion. And fyi I think both Kayne and Jay-z are genius bc #fact! #boreoff."

Cole and Kardashian shared a photograph of themselves posing together last month at a Kanye West concert (pictured below) and Kim's sister, Khloe Kardashian, tweeted: “@KhloeKardashian: I found a soul sister in @CherylCole tonight ♥ #Yeezus.”
