Africa Express have announced that Thandiswa, Bashy, Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Gilles Peterson, Maxïmo Park, EL, Eliza Doolittle, Lucy Rose, The Bots, Rachel Unthank, Reeps One, Romeo Stodart (The Magic Numbers) and Rae Morris are confirmed to join the ‘Africa Express’, departing London Euston on 2nd September, as part of London 2012 Festival.

Africa Express - the collective of African and Western musicians - will board ‘The Africa Express’ and travel through England, Scotland and Wales for a unique musical journey featuring scheduled concerts in Middlesbrough, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol and London as well as pop-up performances at railway stations, schools, factories, offices, shopping centres and homes.
