Skylar Grey talks about 'amazing' experience of working with Eminem

Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey has been talking about her experiences of working with Eminem.

27-year-old Skylar Grey, whose real name is Holly Brook Hafermann, worked with the Slim Shady rapper when she wrote the 2010 smash hit single ‘Love The Way You Lie’ for his collaboration with Rihanna. She also provided vocals for the 2011 Dr. Dre track ‘I Need A Doctor’ which also featured Eminem.

The two paired up once again as Eminem was the executive producer on Grey’s latest album ‘Don’t Look Down’. Eminem shared production duties with Alex da Kid.

Talking to US radio station 92.3 Now, Skylar Grey was highly complementary of Eminem and how he works with her in the studio.

Grey revealed: “Working with Em was one of the most amazing things in my entire life to ever happen and that will probably ever happen.”

She continued: “He has been so great at giving me feedback and I really trust his opinion.”

As well as working on the production of Grey’s latest LP Eminem also collaborated with her on the song ‘C’mon Let Me Ride’.

The ‘Lose Yourself’ rap star is set to make his only UK festival appearance at Reading and Leeds over the August bank holiday weekend (August 23 – 25).
