Jessie J postpones UK and Ireland tour

Jessie J has delayed her 2013 tour to spend more time working on her new album.

The singer was due to hit the UK and Ireland in February and March next year as part of her 'Nice To Meet You' arena tour.

However, the Voice UK coach today (December 14) told fans that she will be postponing the jaunt to October and November in order to concentrate on making the follow-up to her debut album 'Who You Are'.

The star tweeted that she is "truly sorry" for the delay, saying:

"I would like to be the first to tell that you that my #nicetomeetyoutour has been rescheduled to later next year. I am honestly truly sorry but I hope you all can understand that its just because I would like to take more time to finish my new album. I promise to make the show my biggest and best ever and cannot wait for you all to hear my new songs. :)."

Jessie J added that all tickets for the original dates will still be valid, with the new shows due to kick off in Belfast on October 15, concluding in Cardiff on November 11.
