Jessie J promises "bigger and better" show after postponing tour

Jessie J has moved to reassure her fans after postponing her 2013 UK and Ireland tour.

As previously reported, the 'Domino' star pushed back her planned tour by a number of months from spring to autumn in order to spend more time on her forthcoming new album.

The news obviously disappointed some fans, but Jessie J has taken to Twitter today (December 17) in an effort to explain her actions and placate the dissenters.

She said that she wants her fans to enjoy the best show possible, and by releasing her new material before her tour, her devotees should have a more enjoyable time seeing her live. The Voice UK coach said:

"I could do my UK tour in Feb but my album will not be out before hand so if I did new songs you wouldn't know them. I have personally moved it back to make sure you ALL get a BIGGER and BETTER show and will know the music I'm performing."

She continued: "My album is not finished and I am giving myself more time to finish it. I understand some of you are disappointed as am I. Music and art cannot be rushed. I promise it will be worth the wait. Thank you for supporting me."
