JLS say X Factor's MK1 have a bright future

JLS have told X Factor rejects MK1 to stick together and try to make a success out of their music.

As previously reported, the duo were dumped from the X Factor on Sunday (October 21), losing out to Kye Sones in the final two showdown.

Speaking on the Xtra Factor, JLS said that the group should stay together following their X Factor exit, believing that they could have a decent future.

Marvin Humes said: "Someone's got to go, every week it's difficult to pinpoint the reason why... maybe they didn't connect with people at home."

When asked if MK1 have a future, Humes added: "Yeah, I think they have. They were a band before they came into the show and they obviously had that solid unit and I enjoy watching them, I'm actually gutted they left. Hopefully they'll stick it out and keep going."
