JLS star J.B Gill thinks Tulisa is an "amazing" X Factor judge.

The N-Dubz singer - who has graced the hit TV talent series' judging panel for two seasons - faced criticism while on the show this year for dating footballer Danny Simpson after his ex-girlfriend claimed she was pregnant  with his child.

Former X Factor contestants JLS are friends with Tulisa and members Gill and Marvin Humes have weighed in on the star's situation.

Humes told Closer magazine: "Tulisa is fine - having the ups and downs of your love life aired in public is all part and parcel of being famous. They're both very happy. I think people are too judgemental.

Gill added: "At the end of the day, Tulisa's an amazing X Factor judge because she's a girl who reached the top of the music industry from nothing. That's a massive achievement and everyone should focus on that."
