Justin Timberlake has expressed his joy and disbelief at the popularity of his new song.

The US star announced on Sunday night (January 13) that he would be making his long-awaited comeback to music after focusing on acting for a number of years.

He released the Jay-Z collaboration track 'Suit & Tie', which is produced by Timbaland, as well as confirming the new of new album 'The 20/20 Experience'.

The song soon hit No.1 on the US iTunes and Timberlake took to Twitter to reveal his shock at its success, tweeting:

"So humbled by all of this. This day has been TOO crazy. I just have to say it one more time to all of you guys and gals... THANK YOU!!"

'The 20/20 Experience' is due to be released later this year.
