Reports have been swirling in the media about the birth of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby daughter, but up until now, there had been no comment from the family.

Finally, breaking the silence was Khloe Kardashian – the new mom’s sister and reality show co-star – who announced via Twitter: “I cannot even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love.”

She added: “More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now “

The baby’s grandma Kris Jenner also chimed in with a tweet directed at the new arrival’s father, saying: “HAPPY FATHERS DAY @kanyewest !!!!!!”
